frozen chicken pot pies
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 350ºF for 3 minutes.
Place the frozen chicken pot pies in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
2 10 ounce frozen chicken pot pies
Air fry the pot pies for 25 minutes or until they are heated through and golden brown on top.
Use an instant-read thermometer to verify the internal temperature has reached 165 degrees F.
After they're finished cooking, take out the pot pies from the air fryer. They will be very hot, so allow them to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Cover the pot pie with aluminum foil if the crust is browning too quickly.
The pot pie will be very hot once it is done. Let it rest for 5 minutes and then be careful not to let the hot filling burn your mouth.
This cooking process is for beef pot pie or turkey pot pie, or other types, as long as the size is similar.
Frozen mini sweet pies, such as apple pie or cherry pie, can also be air fried.
If using a smaller, 7-8 ounce pot pie reduce the cooking time by 5 minutes. I don't recommend cooking large 15-16 ounce pot pies in the air fryer.
