Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 390F. Wash and dry the mushrooms from excess moisture, and cut large mushrooms into 2-4 parts. Transfer to a medium bowl.
Mix everything thoroughly so that each piece of mushroom is evenly coated.
Put the mushrooms in the air fryer basket in one or two layers. Fry at 390F for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, shake the air fryer basket a few times while stirring the mushrooms. Cook for 3 more minutes.
Notes
Serve mushrooms hot or warm with fresh herbs.
Avoid rinsing the mushrooms under water, as they can absorb moisture and become soggy. Once your mushrooms are clean, trim off any tough or woody stems.
Remember, you can always get creative with your seasonings, but be sure not to overpower the natural taste of the mushrooms!
One common mistake when cooking with an air fryer is overcrowding the basket, leading to uneven cooking. Make sure there is room for the air to circulate.
