Ingredients
1poundBrussels sprouts
1tablespoonolive oil
½teaspoonsalt
¼teaspoonpepper
½teaspoongarlic powder
1tablespoonbalsamic vinegar
1tablespoonmaple syrup
Instructions
Trim the stem end off the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Remove any brown outer leaves. If you have huge ones, cut them in quarters.
1 pound Brussels sprouts
Put them in a mixing bowl and drizzle the sprouts with olive oil. Then sprinkle on the salt, pepper, and garlic powder and stir.
1 tablespoon olive oil, ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon pepper, ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Place them in the air fryer, spreading them out in the basket. Air fry at 380 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Pull the basket out and shake it to redistribute the Brussels sprouts. Air fry for another 5-7 minutes until they are tender.
Scoop the veggies into a bowl and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and maple syrup.
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Notes
If your Brussels sprouts are too large, the outside will char before the inside is tender. Cut them into quarters if they are larger than a cherry tomato.
Shaking the basket partway through the cooking time helps ensure even cooking and that all-important, crispy finish.
Switch up the seasoning if you like. Add a pinch of chili flakes for heat or a generous dusting of parmesan cheese.
