Slow Cooker Cajun Alfredo Recipe

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Put the chicken, heavy cream, butter, and broth in your slow cooker.
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts,
2 cups heavy cream,
2 tablespoons butter,
1 can chicken broth
Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning and paprika all over. Add the garlic, pepper and onions. Then add the sliced sausage.

1 teaspoon paprika,
3 cloves garlic,
1 cup frozen peppers and onions,
14 ounces andouille sausage
Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4 hours.
Remove the chicken, slice it into bite-sized pieces, and set aside.
Add the pasta, stir and cover. Let the pasta cook for 30 minutes until tender.
1 pound penne pasta
Add the parmesan cheese and the chicken back to the slow cooker. Stir to combine. Then cover and let it cook for a few minutes.
1 ½ cups shredded Parmesan
Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes
You can use any sausage you like if Andouille has too much kick for you.
You can also use boneless, skinless chicken thighs.
Fresh peppers and onions also work fine in this recipe.
Feel free to change up the type of pasta.
Swap out the Parmesan for cheddar or even pepper jack.
