Last weekend I had the chance to attend the XSRE Casting Call Event at the new store at Destiny in Syracuse. It was a blast, and it was great to see all the girls and women who showed up to try on some fun accessories and get their picture taken.
If you have never been to an XSRE store it is overwhelming! The entire store is full of every accessory that you could ever think of.
The store has all kinds of jewelry,
purses, shawls, pajamas and much more.
My daughter and her best friend loved trying out different looks and exploring, although it was kind of overwhelming at times, since everywhere we looked there was more to see.
After we shopped for a while my daughter and her friend got their picture taken for the model search. There was an entire set of accessories set aside to use for the picture, and the store associates helped the girls choose accessories. It was fun for them to get all glammed up!
My daughter was styled with a boho-chic look, which went well with the jeans and sweater she was wearing. It was interesting, because she was more subdued and tentative when posing for the professional photographer than when she poses for me! I guess she was nervous, and her friend was even more nervous.
It was fascinating to watch all the girls getting pictures taken, and it was pretty easy to tell who had modeled before and who had not! All the pictures will be posted on the XSRE Facebook page soon, and then anyone can vote for their favorite. My daughter and her friend aren’t expecting to win anything, but they had fun being models for the day and shopping for accessories.

That’s some nice looking bling up there!
Love the fuzzy (wolf?) hat.
The store looks amazing. I already saw some stuff I would love.
Sounds like they had a blast! Bet the pictures are fun!
that looks like a ton of fun!
VERY elegant attire! Love the fur on your daughter, it looks like she was having a ball!
Looks like a lot of fun. And what a neat idea to dress them up and let them be a model.
Gorgeous pieces! I love those shiny bracelets!
