In this delicious Amish Broccoli Salad, raw broccoli and cauliflower are coated with a creamy dressing with cheese and bacon on top.

Ingredients
1headbroccoli
1headcauliflower
1cupmayonnaise
2tablespoonapple cider vinegar or white vinegar
1/4cupsugar
1teaspoonsalt
1cupcheddar cheeseshredded

Instructions
Dice the broccoli and cauliflower into bite-size pieces and combine them in a large bowl.

Mix the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and salt in a separate bowl. Whisk until well combined.

Pour the dressing over the veggies and stir to coat them thoroughly with the mixture. Add the cheese and stir to mix.

Notes
Keep the size of the cauliflower or broccoli florets manageable.
The sweetness of the salad is one of its defining characteristics. But if you aren't a fan of a sweeter dressing, reduce the amount of sugar to 1/4 cup.
