Modern, Fun and Easy Recipes
Hi, I’m Anne, the woman behind this blog. I love to cook and I want to share my recipes with you. I believe cooking should be approachable and fun, not a chore.
I want to make simple recipes using everyday ingredients that you can make again and again, whether it is for a busy weeknight, a summer cookout or a special dessert.
And I love cooking gadgets! If there is a fancy new kitchen tool you can bet I will be buying it. So lots of my recipes use modern gadgets including an air fryer, Instant Pot, slow cooker and sous vide. But I also make recipes with more traditional methods, like one pan skillet dinners or no-bake desserts.
So if you are looking for cooking ideas for making healthy-ish food without going crazy follow along with my posts!
Does any of this sound familiar?
You don’t have time to cook…
Between sports practices and school activities some days you barely have 30 minutes to cook and eat dinner! An air fryer can cook in half the time of an oven, and with less fat. Check out my air fryer recipes.
You want an easy, all in one dinner…
Making a main dish and multiple side dishes can be exhausting and leaves you with lots of dishes to wash. With the Instant Pot you can make delicious one pot meals fast. Check out my Instant Pot recipes.
You forgot to thaw meat for dinner, again….
With a sous vide you can cook frozen meat just as easily as thawed meat, without changing the recipes. And while sous vide sounds intimidating it is actually one of the simplest ways to cook. Check out my sous vide recipes.
