Do you have a special place? I think most of us do, a place that brings back memories and makes us feel relaxed and happy. For me my favorite place is on the water, in our boat on the local lake. My husband and I have been boating for years, and we always find the most relaxing and enjoyable times out on the water. The start of boating season is always a much anticipated time for my family, and putting the boat away in the winter brings a sense of loss.
Sometimes our relaxing times include fishing, tubing or water skiing. But many times we like to just go out on the water and float around in our boat, enjoying the sunshine and reading or listening to music. We pack some food and drinks, and spend hours floating around aimlessly, away from the stress and busyness of everyday life. The peacefullness and relaxation are amazing! We can watch fish jump out of the water and see birds soaring overhead. The best times are when we are able to stay out on the water, watch the sunset and see the stars. It is a feeling that can’t be duplicated anywhere else.
That 1st picture is so peaceful, I can see how that would be a special place.
