I haven’t posted lately about the progress on the dollhouse I am making. As you might guess that is because I haven’t made much progress. I underestimated how much time taking my daughter to community college would take, and I’ve found myself with less free time than I expected. I’m not sure how I missed figuring out that a 45 minute drive one way, followed by waiting for 3 hours of class time and a 45 minute drive back was going be a huge chunk out my day twice a week, but somehow it didn’t seem that bad until it started. The good news is she has finally scheduled her drivers test! The bad news is the test isn’t until after the semester ends. But it should help a lot for the fall. I did get a fireplace and chair rail for the dollhouse, and I plan to paint them this weekend.
