I woke up this morning to an amazing Mother’s Day surprise. Breakfast in bed? Flowers from the kids? No – it was snow. Not just a few flurries, but actual, measurable snow. There was over an inch on the deck – enough to write in.
The apple trees, which were covered in blossoms last week, were covered in snow. I don’t know what this will do to our apple harvest this year. The snow has all melted now, and hopefully we won’t see any again until November.
