To me apples are the best taste of fall. Sure pumpkins are fine, but nothing beats fresh fall apples, whether they are baked in a pie or made into sweet and tasty apple cider. Add in a little bit of caramel and you have the ultimate in fall flavor, which is what is found in this easy salted caramel apple cider cocktail.

Making the Salted Caramel Apple Cider Cocktail

The first step in making this easy apple cocktail is to add a salt rim to the glass. Now you could skip this step – but salt makes the cocktail even better. The combination of salt with the caramel flavor is the perfect mixture of sweet and salty.

To get a salt rimed glass first pour some kosher salt onto a small plate. Then wet the rim of your cocktail glass with water or apple cider and dip the glass into the salt.
