Stranded at the Airport #ConnectingFlights

Have you ever been stuck at an airport due to flight cancellations?  That is every travelers nightmare – or maybe it could be a blessing in disguise.  When I was in college I was stuck at an airport in London coming back from a summer program.  Our plane had mechanical problems, and after loading us on and off twice they finally decided they needed a new plane – although unfortunately that was going to take a day.  So I ended up spending the night at the airport, which was not fun at all.  Of course this was before internet and cell phones, so I read a book and napped in the chairs a little bit.  I did talk to my fellow passengers some, but we mostly just complained about the situation.
