When my family and I came upon a big patch of milkweed this weekend we went searching for butterflies in the patch.
We found this pretty Swallowtail drinking from the milkweed blooms.

So pretty. I actually never even knew what milkweed looked like. I’ve heard about it, and seen it, but didn’t know ‘those’ flowers were milkweeds!
