🍴Serving Ideas

When serving this pork roast, whole-berry cranberry sauce is a must. The cranberries that flavor the meat melt into the broth, so they aren’t that nice, vibrant red anymore.

Add a dollop of the tangy cranberry sauce right on top of your roast, and you’ve got a meal fit for a king or, you know, a very hungry family. I like to serve this with a side of creamy mashed potatoes or fluffy rice.

Pair it with a crisp green salad or steamed vegetables for a lighter option. Brussels sprouts and green beans go wonderfully with the meal, too.

💭Storing Your Cranberry Pork Loin

The roast can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Just let it cool a bit before popping it in there.

And here’s the best part – this dish is freezer-friendly. Wrap the cooled roast tightly in foil, then place it in a freezer-safe bag.

It can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. When you’re ready to reheat, just let it thaw in the fridge overnight and warm it in the oven or microwave.

⭐Tips

Be sure to check out the step by step instructions

  • You can also cook this on high for 4-5 hours. But I find pork is much more tender and moist when I cook it on low.
  • I usually go for a nice boneless pork loin roast for this Crock Pot Cranberry pork. It’s a lean yet tender piece of meat that cooks beautifully in the slow cooker.
  • If you’re going for a more budget-friendly option, a pork shoulder roast works well, too. It will just be a little greasier. Pork tenderloin works fine, too, but it will cook much faster, only needing about 4 hours in the slow cooker.
  • No cranberries? You can use a can of cranberry sauce in place of the cranberries and honey.
