The holidays celebrations mean holiday cocktails! And one of the easiest holiday cocktails to make is Sangria, because you can make it ahead of time and chill it until the party starts. I made this Cranberry Orange Sangria with white wine for one of our holiday celebrations, and served it my new Curva Artisan double walled glasses.
The Cranberry Orange Sangria is pretty easy to make. I boiled some cranberries with sugar to make a sweet cranberry flavored syrup, and then drained it off. Then I combined the cranberry syrup with some white wine, more cranberries, some cinnamon sticks and an orange. After a few hours of chilling in the refrigerator the flavors have melded into a nice fruity wine, perfect for the holidays. Make ahead cocktails like this just make hosting a party easier!
The Curva Artisan glasses are excellent for parties too, because they are made of durable, heat resistant borosilicate glass. So they are stronger than common glass and shatter resistant, which can come in handy at a busy event. They have a neat double walled design, which helps insulate your drink and keep it at an ideal temperature. It also makes them very pretty, and the double wall design gives them a neat optical illusion effect, that really shows off the drinks.
They are very light too, I was surprised at how light they are even with the double walls. They are good for both hot and cold drinks, which is very convenient. You can buy them at Amazon.com, and they would make a lovely holiday gift, especially since they are unique and handmade.
