Waffles with ham and berries on a plate - Waffle Breakfast Sandwich.

The recipe starts with two Kellogg’s® Eggo Thick & Fluffy Original Waffles. I topped one of the waffles off with a slice of cheese, two slices of ham and a fried egg. Then I put the second waffle on top to make tasty a waffle breakfast sandwich.

One of these sandwiches is quite filling – which is useful when you have teenagers in the house! If you have teens you know how much they eat, so I like having an easy breakfast that will fill my son up and not leave him scrounging for more food an hour later. For the rest of us I cut the sandwich into quarters to make 4 mini-sandwiches to share. Two or three quarters makes a filling breakfast for me. Serving these mini waffle breakfast sandwiches with a side of fruit or orange juice is a simple and quick breakfast for your family and will fuel lots of summer activities.

Eggo Thick & Fluffy Waffles

The new and improved Eggo Thick & Fluffy waffles I used for this waffle breakfast sandwich come in a nice variety of flavors. In addition to Original (now with Madagascar Vanilla) there are also Blueberry Waffles, Cinnamon Brown Sugar Waffles and Double Chocolatey Waffles. These varieties are elevating the premium, homemade nature of Eggo by delivering new and improved Thick & Fluffy Belgian Style Waffles.

Online Grocery Pickup

I bought my Eggo Waffles using Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup.  This was the first time I ever used this pickup service and I loved how convenient and easy it was.

I placed the order online, selected a pickup time, and when I got to Walmart my groceries were brought right out to my car. Not having to pick out all my items was a huge time saver and I know I will be using this service again soon. See how easy it is and check out Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup here.
